Smoke Detector Testing

The office will be closed on Thursday April 11,2024 and will reopen on Wednesday May 1, 2024.

There will be NO resale smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, and fire extinguisher inspections during the above dates.

Please adjust you house closing dates accordingly.

Inspection Fees

$45.00 – More than 10 Business Days in Advance
$90.00 – 4 – 10 Business Days
$161.00 – Less than 4 Business Days
$30.00 – *Re-Inspection

*Re-Inspections are due to inoperable, improperly located, or the absence of required smoke and/or carbon monoxide detector, fire extinguisher or missed appointments.

Payment must be made in the form of check or money order made payable to Monroe Township Fire District Three
Payment must be received at the time of the inspection. NO EXCEPTIONS.


–All inspections will be conducted on Tuesdays between the hours of 9am and 3pm. NO EXCEPTIONS.

–Once the application has been received you will receive a computer generated receipt to review. After you review your application please reply that everything is correct or make the necessary corrections. Email your copy to
