After 15 years of service to the Board of Fire Commissioners at MTFD3, Commissioner Kaplan resigns effective October 11, 2023.
Commissioner Gerald Kaplan passed away on October 19, 2023. He is survived by his wife Ellen, son Keith, daughter Meredith and grandchildren Kara, Nate and Drew.
Mr. Steven Bloom has joined the Board of Fire Commissioners to finish out the empty position left by Commissioner Kaplan.
